YOUTUBE, in a statement has announced the postponement of Pesta Game, Malaysia’s first virtual sports day.
Scheduled to be streamed live concurrently on multiple platforms and YouTube channels on Jan 30 and 31, 2021, YouTube said the event is now postponed until further notice, citing instruction by relevant authorities as the reason.
“Due to instruction from the relevant authorities, Pesta Game, originally slated for Jan 30 and 31, has unfortunately been postponed till further notice.
“After close consultation with our partners MyGameOn and IGN Southeast Asia, we agree that this is the safest decision to take.
“We apologise for any inconvenience – we did not foresee such instruction at this stage of the planning process,” the company said.
